The shooting occured around 5 a.m. when Mr Bain drove into his driveway. It is believed he managed the 601 Nightclub. <\/P><\/p>\n
According to Chief Superintendent Hulan Hanna, the lifeless body of Bain was found lying in the middle of McKinney Drive and Rocky Pine Road. <\/P><\/p>\n
“Sometime around 5 a.m. the victim arrived in his F-150 truck licence plate number T17089. Apparently after coming out of the vehicle, he was accosted by two armed males,” he said. <\/P><\/p>\n
Mr. Hanna stated “shots were heard as the victim ran from his home.” Minutes later he was discovered lying on his back, lifeless, in the middle of McKinney Drive with one gunshot wound to the upper left chest.” <\/P><\/p>\n
As investigators continue to piece together what happened, Mr. Hanna said a motive for the death is unknown. He said investigations were continuing and appealed to people in the community with information to give the police a call at 328- 8477. <\/P><\/p>\n
At the house next door to the incident, Mr. Hanna said a vehicle was damaged. A government vehicle parked near by had the rear passenger window shattered. Additionally, he said the front windshield of the victim’s truck was also damaged. <\/P><\/p>\n
Meantime, family members are trying to come to grips with their relative who was described by his niece Nicky Deal as a “no-nonsense person.” <\/P><\/p>\n
She said her uncle was a kindhearted person who always sought to help people in need. “His dearest love was his two children,” she said noting that he had a 21-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old son. <\/P><\/p>\n
“Everyone is shocked and devastated,” she said and left wondering why the event took place. “What are individuals thinking, you can’t have anything without someone else wanting it,” she said. <\/P><\/p>\n
