{"id":245201,"date":"2004-03-29T12:34:46","date_gmt":"2004-03-29T17:34:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2004\/03\/restaurant-robbery-terror"},"modified":"2004-03-29T12:34:46","modified_gmt":"2004-03-29T17:34:46","slug":"restaurant-robbery-terror","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2004\/03\/restaurant-robbery-terror","title":{"rendered":"Restaurant Robbery Terror"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At 1:45am just as employees were preparing to close the restaurant, two gunmen, faces covered with scarves, entered.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nAll employees were ordered into the kitchen and forced to lie on the ground as the men emptied the cash register.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nOne man was described as about 6&#8217;3&#8243; in height and the other about 5&#8217;6&#8243;.<br \/>\n<P>The first has a shotgun and the other a handgun.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nAbout ten minutes later a home-owners dog got involved in an armed robbery, which resulted in the dog being shot to death while his owner escaped with his life.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nLeo Russell told police he had just arrived home when he was approached by an unknown man.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nThe man, armed with a gun, held him up and took his cash. However, Mr. Russell&#8217;s potcake tried to intervene.
