{"id":245268,"date":"2004-04-16T19:47:59","date_gmt":"2004-04-16T23:47:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2004\/04\/investor-gives-govt-10-day-deadline-before-new-offensive"},"modified":"2004-04-16T19:47:59","modified_gmt":"2004-04-16T23:47:59","slug":"investor-gives-govt-10-day-deadline-before-new-offensive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2004\/04\/investor-gives-govt-10-day-deadline-before-new-offensive","title":{"rendered":"Investor Gives Gov&#8217;t 10-Day Deadline Before New Offensive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Furious German investor Harald Fuhrmann, who has waged a long website war against &#8216;corrupt and incompetent&#8217; Bahamian lawyers, has given the government ten days to act on his concerns or face the consequences.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nHe told The Tribune yesterday that he has a new strategy that will shift his damaging public relations offensives into a higher gear &#8211; and cause the Bahamas even more embarrassment.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nMr. Fuhrmann, who has launched 60 websites attacking the Bahamas for alleged legal corruption, widespread criminality, anti-foreign attitudes and misleading advertising, is now set to break new ground in his relentless campaign.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nMr.  Fuhrmann, whose trouble with Nassau lawyers began with a property transaction ten years ago, held a press conference yesterday to outline his gripes and protest the continuing silence of government and the legal profession.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nMr. Fuhrmann wants to meet with government officials to urge judicial reform and the appointment of a legal ombudsman.
