Construction magnate George Mosko Sr. has taken over the struggling downtown museum and bar and has brought in new management to run the operation.<\/p>\n
The business was previously run by a Swiss businessman who once attempted to sell the business on E-Bay, the online auction site, for $500,000. Mr. Mosko made the decision to repossess the building, keeping the bar and museum open and retaining the 20 plus Bahamian staff. Former manager Mark Hussey has resigned.<\/p>\n
Mr. Mosko has indicated that he will be making renovations and upgrades to the property soon, including changing the roof and paiinting the building.<\/p>\n
