Giving his 23rd contribution as a parliamentarian to various government budgets, Mr. Dupuch said the public share offering touted by Kerzner International seems rather “curious” as it surfaced at a time when the Government was weighing the pros and cons of allowing a foreign investor to revamp Cable Beach.<\/p>\n
\n“At the very worst, I suppose it [share offering] was badly timed. It was a bad time to go to the public for an offering, which obviously would bring it [Government] sympathy when the Government is trying to make a decision about Cable Beach,” he said.<\/p>\n
\nWas it made because it is a good thing for the Bahamian people to have, or was it made to try and buy your [Government’s] minds” Mr. Dupuch queried.<\/p>\n
