{"id":245971,"date":"2004-10-26T11:19:40","date_gmt":"2004-10-26T15:19:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2004\/10\/suspect-charged-in-gruesome-bahamas-murders"},"modified":"2004-10-26T11:19:40","modified_gmt":"2004-10-26T15:19:40","slug":"suspect-charged-in-gruesome-bahamas-murders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2004\/10\/suspect-charged-in-gruesome-bahamas-murders","title":{"rendered":"Suspect Charged In Gruesome Bahamas Murders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 28-year-old man appeared in court yesterday charged with committing two murders on Cat Island last week.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nRicardo Brown of Old Bight, Cat Island, was charged in Magistrate&#8217;s Court in nassau with the murders of 49-year-old Carol Meredith and 28-year-old Victor Hoyte.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nBrown was not required to enter a plea.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nPolice discovered the body of Mr. Hoyte in the doorway of his residence after he had been shot in the head at close range with a shotgun.
