{"id":246191,"date":"2004-12-01T11:30:21","date_gmt":"2004-12-01T16:30:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2004\/12\/call-for-bradley-roberts-resignation"},"modified":"2004-12-01T11:30:21","modified_gmt":"2004-12-01T16:30:21","slug":"call-for-bradley-roberts-resignation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2004\/12\/call-for-bradley-roberts-resignation","title":{"rendered":"Call For Bradley Roberts Resignation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following his announcement that he will remain in office for a full term, the Action Group of the Free National Movement are now calling for the immediate resignation of Minister of Works Bradley Roberts.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nThe outspken arm of the opposition party has accused Prime Minister Perry Christie and the minister of misleading the Bahamian public and the constituents of bain and Grants Town.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nThe FNM Action Group said that in the campaign leading up to the May 2002 election, the minister had stated his intention to only remain a Member of Parliament for half of the five year term.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nThe Action Group accused Mr. Roberts of not only misleading the &#8220;Rev. Dr. CB Moss, but the entire Bahamian public particularly the good and decent people of the Bain and Grants Town constituency, whom he represents in parliament&#8221;.
