{"id":246577,"date":"2005-02-17T10:17:01","date_gmt":"2005-02-17T15:17:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2005\/02\/jitney-incident-two-charged"},"modified":"2005-02-17T10:17:01","modified_gmt":"2005-02-17T15:17:01","slug":"jitney-incident-two-charged","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2005\/02\/jitney-incident-two-charged","title":{"rendered":"Jitney Incident: Two Charged"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The man alleged to have robbed and assaulted three jitney passengers by throwing two of them from the moving vehicle was yesterday charged in Magistrate&#8217;s Court in connection with a variety of offences related to the incident.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nThe jitney bus driver was appeared in court charged with several offences relating to the same incident.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nWard Wilson, a 36-year-old resident of Fire Trail Road and 28-year-old Tyronne Scavella of Soldier Road both appeared before Magistrate Maralyn Meers in Court Five Bank Lane.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nThe three passengers were on a jitney bus travelling to the Pinewood\/ Kennedy subdivision after 6:15pm. They were attacked by two men and thrown out of the vehicle while it was moving at a high speed.
