An evening at the movies proved fatal for 19 year-old Brandon Pierre as he became the eighth murder victim of the year.<\/p>\n
Police report the young man was stabbed to death as he was leaving Galleria Cinemas on Saturday night around 8:00pm.<\/p>\n
Mr. Pierre was with a group of friends when he was approached by several men, one of whom grabbed Mr. Pierre’s neck chain and then stabbed him in the left side of the chest. It is believed that Mr. Pierre resisted the robbery attempt.<\/p>\n
The victim was able to escape his attacker, then run to the mall branch of Domino’s Pizza, which was open at the time.<\/p>\n
He is said to have collapsed and died in front of the Domino’s employees and customers.<\/p>\n
Police apprehended two suspects, a 21 year-old resident of Raymond Street and a 19 year-old Pinewood Garden’s youth, shortly after the incident.<\/p>\n
