A young Bahamian male studying in Raleigh, North Carolina, is being held on $500,000 cash bond at Wake County Jail charged with murder, five counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, five counts of second-degree kidnapping and three counts of assault with a deadly weapon. <\/P><\/p>\n
St. Augustine’s College student Tamerco Nathaniel Cunningham, 20, is accused of driving a robbery getaway car, a 1993 Infiniti, which crashed into a tree and killed a passenger on Wednesday, February 16. <\/P><\/p>\n
That passenger, Claudis Caldwell, 22, was reportedly in the rear seat and pronounced dead at the scene, according to The News & Observer, a North Carolina newspaper. <\/P><\/p>\n
Cunningham is being held without bail on the first degree murder charge. <\/P><\/p>\n
According to police, at least two men, armed with shotguns and a knife, entered an apartment on the third floor on Scholar Circle last Wednesday after 11:00 p.m. and forced five people to lie on their stomachs. <\/P><\/p>\n
The suspects reportedly stole personal items from the occupants and made off with about $300 in cash and several other items, including three cellular phones, a Louis Vuitton wallet, a black leather money clip and a credit card, according to The News & Observer.<\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
