{"id":246603,"date":"2005-02-24T12:03:45","date_gmt":"2005-02-24T17:03:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2005\/02\/man-19-charged-with-mall-murder"},"modified":"2005-02-24T12:03:45","modified_gmt":"2005-02-24T17:03:45","slug":"man-19-charged-with-mall-murder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2005\/02\/man-19-charged-with-mall-murder","title":{"rendered":"Man, 19, Charged With Mall Murder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P>A 19-year-old resident of Pinewood Gardens was charged with murder before Magistrate Linda Virgill on Wednesday in connection with the death of Brandon Pierre.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Pierre, who was also 19, was stabbed while leaving Galleria Cinemas at the Mall at Marathon on Saturday evening.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The accused, Kingsley Adderley, was not required to enter a plea and was remanded to Her Majesty\uffb4s Prison until March 22 for a preliminary inquiry.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Adderley\uffb4s attorney, Eliezer Regnier, requested that his client see a doctor, claiming that he was beaten and therefore was unable to be arraigned on Tuesday due to visible swellings.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Magistrate Virgill granted the request and told the accused that while remanded he will receive medical attention at the prison.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Police reported that several males accosted Pierre while he was leaving the mall.
