{"id":246789,"date":"2005-04-05T11:24:50","date_gmt":"2005-04-05T15:24:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2005\/04\/hotel-restaurant-trade-show"},"modified":"2005-04-05T11:24:50","modified_gmt":"2005-04-05T15:24:50","slug":"hotel-restaurant-trade-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2005\/04\/hotel-restaurant-trade-show","title":{"rendered":"Hotel &#038; Restaurant Trade Show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Buyers and sellers of products and services used by hotels and restaurants will meet this Thursday, April 7th from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. at the Wyndham Nassau Resort Convention Centre to participate in the Bahamas Hotel Association\uffb4s (BHA) annual Trade Show and Expo. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The Expo will feature over 40 displays of products and services by BHA allied members who do business with hotels and restaurants. \uffa0Pre-scheduled One-On-One meetings with purchasing representatives from our nation\uffb4s leading hotels are also being arranged. \uffa0Culinary buffs will be treated to ice sculpting, cooking and cake decorating demonstrations conducted each hour from 1:00 pm, courtesy of the Bahamas Culinary Association and the Wyndham.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>\uff93This show is all about supporting and improving business between our allied members and the nation\uffb4s hotels and restaurants. \uffa0BHA\uffb4s allied members are direct or indirect beneficiaries of the business generated by our nation\uffb4s hotels and restaurants. \uffa0This is the fastest growing area of our membership base and the trade show is a good way in which we support our allied members\uff92 stated BHA President Earle Bethell.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>BHA expects a high level of participation by managers, purchasing representatives, chefs, and other key personnel from our nation\uffb4s hotel and restaurant trade. \uffa0\uff93The event is open to anyone in the hotel and restaurant trade\uff92 according to Bethell. \uffa0\uff93While most of the hotels in the country are members of BHA, many of the restaurants are not. \uffa0We want to encourage them to come on out and explore ways in which they can build or strengthen strategic business alliances. \uffa0We also invite those who are not yet an allied member of BHA, to come check out the expo. \uffa0All you need to enter if you are not already a BHA member is a business card\uff92 adds the BHA President.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The Hotel Association has added a new component to the show this year called \uff93One-On-One\uff92. \uffa0These are prescheduled 15 minute appointments with purchasing representatives from Kerzner, Four Seasons, Wyndham and the Radisson. \uffa0\uff93This has proven to be very popular with our members. \uffa0There are just a few time slots left and we urge those with any interest to contact BHA\uff92 said Bethell.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The show will officially open at noon on Thursday. \uffa0Among the exhibitors will be: \uffa0Prime Bahamas, Paradise Fisheries, Mail Boxes Etc, Caribbean Beverage, Chemtron, Authentically Bahamian, Uniform Experts, TPG Bahamas, Bahamas Fantasies, Bahamas Paint Depot, Star Publishers, BRITA, PAS Purchasing, Interchem, Scottsdale Bedding, Sunlight Foods, Sun Tee, AMC Liquidators, F-Rich Trading, Bahamas Food Packaging, Purity Bakery, Fun Foods, and Asa H. Pritchard. \uffa0<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The event will be held on Thursday, April 7th from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. at the Wyndham Nassau Resort Convention Centre.
