{"id":247151,"date":"2005-06-08T10:51:07","date_gmt":"2005-06-08T14:51:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2005\/06\/grand-bahama-man-shot"},"modified":"2005-06-08T10:51:07","modified_gmt":"2005-06-08T14:51:07","slug":"grand-bahama-man-shot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2005\/06\/grand-bahama-man-shot","title":{"rendered":"Grand Bahama Man Shot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police were on Monday searching for the man believed to be behind the fatal shooting of a 26-year-old Grand Bahama resident, a tragedy that pushed that island\uffb4s murder count for the year to eight and the country\uffb4s to 19.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Police said shortly after 10pm, one of the victim\uffb4s relatives reportedly informed him that someone on the outside of his home was interested in purchasing his white Buick car.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Mr. Grant reportedly went on the outside of his home, where, after exchanging a few words, the man pulled out a handgun, shooting him in the face several times.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Police said the suspect then fled the scene, leaving Grant\uffb4s lifeless body on the ground near his vehicle.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Police were searching for a man described as being six feet, one inch tall, of light brown complexion with a goatee and wearing a blue tam.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Anyone will information about this latest slaying is asked to call the crime hotline in Grand Bahama at 352-1919.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P><SMALL>Macushla N.
