{"id":247324,"date":"2005-07-08T11:05:08","date_gmt":"2005-07-08T15:05:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2005\/07\/london-attacked"},"modified":"2005-07-08T11:05:08","modified_gmt":"2005-07-08T15:05:08","slug":"london-attacked","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2005\/07\/london-attacked","title":{"rendered":"London Attacked"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on London yesterday, the Bahamas expresses in a note to the Foreign Commonwealth Office its sorrow over the tragic loss of life calling it &#8220;an attack on the very heart and core of our values&#8221;.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The Bahamas Maritime Authority, located near one of the principal sites of the explosion, had to be evacuated and Bahamians in and around London were affected by the blasts.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>As of yesterday, the series of bomb attacks on London&#8217;s transport network killed more than 30 people and injured about 700 others.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Three explosions on the Undeground left 35 dead. Two more died in a blast on a double decker bus.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Rachel Barlow, who works at the Royal Free Hospital in London, told The Tribune that the incident had essentially shut the hosipital down.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>&#8220;It is crazy here.
