Participants in last year’s Bahamas Web Awards were awed and amazed at the graceful beauty of the Best of The Bahamas Awards sculpture, created by the Bahamas’ own artistic legend, Antonius Roberts.<\/P><\/p>\n
Indeed, the work of art was majestic! Many thought last year’s sculpture, awarded to Tiamo Resorts<\/b> in Andros, was even more spectacular than the original Best of The Bahamas Award, handed out to HG Christie Ltd.<\/b> during the inagural awards ceremony in 2003.<\/P><\/p>\n
Most people agreed that, as good as he was, Mr. Roberts would have a tough time matching the magnificance of the 2004 Award sculpture. They said it couldn’t be done.<\/P><\/p>\n
Oh, ye of little faith.<\/i><\/b><\/P><\/p>\n
This year’s Best of The Bahamas Award is absolutely incredible! Forty-eight inches of tastefully sculpted madeira wood, rising up from a sturdy, solid coconut wood base. The sensuously carved, twisting polished wood epitomizes sophistication and excellence. The elegant work of art lives up to it’s name as “The Best of The Bahamas Award” and embodies the distinction that accompanies winning the top honour at the 2005 Bahamas Web Awards.<\/P><\/p>\n
