S. Customs continue to partner and modernize their tactics in the fight against drugs, yesterday officers reported a major drug bust at the Grand Bahama International Airport. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>According to assistant press liaison officer, Woman Inspector Loretta Mackey, around 8:15 a.m. Sunday a Continental Airline flight was stopped seconds before its scheduled take-off. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The 20-seater bound for Fort Lauderdale, Florida was recalled to the departure gate by tower officials, on instructions from U. S. Customs officers at the airport. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The U. S. officials boarded the aircraft, carrying out a second and thorough search of luggage on the plane. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Officers discovered a black bag containing 10 kilos of suspected cocaine, weighing approximately 25 pounds with an estimated street value of $100,000. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>No arrest was made during the search; however, Grand Bahama Drug Enforcement Unit officers are continuing their investigations into this incident.<\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 20-seater bound for Fort Lauderdale, Florida was recalled to the departure gate by tower officials, on instructions from U.
