The victim was taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital where a relative identified him as Ed Brown of Mackey Street, police reported.<\/p>\n<p>An autopsy was scheduled to be performed to determine Brown&#8217;s exact cause of death. But police said they had ruled out foul play.<\/p>\n<p>Meantime, police reported that they also made an arrest in the shooting death of Philip Minnis, 27, a resident of Milton Street who was killed on Monday evening.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Commissioner of Police with responsibility for crime, Reginald Ferguson indicated that a 22-year-old man is in police custody in connection with the incident, the country&#8217;s 26th murder for the year.<\/p>\n<p>Minnis was reportedly gunned down around 9:30pm following an altercation.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators were also continuing to conduct a probe into a shooting that occurred in the Bacardi Road area early Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Police reports indicate that around 2:14am, a Milton Street resident was walking in that community when he was approached by two males in a red vehicle. <\/p>\n<p>According to ACP Ferguson, the occupants of the vehicle took the man against his will to Bacardi Road, where he was shot. <\/p>\n<p>The victim was subsequently taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital for medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p><small>By: Macushla N.
