Police said the incident occurred around 1am Monday in the Millennium Gardens Subdivision.<\/p>\n
At that time a fight erupted at a party in the area, resulting in 18-year-old Cyril Lockhart, being shot, authorities reported.<\/p>\n
At last report, the teenager was in stable condition at the Princess Margaret Hospital.<\/p>\n
Police investigations were also focused yesterday on an attempted armed robbery in the East Street area.<\/p>\n
According to Assistant Commissioner of Police with responsibility for Crime, Reginald Ferguson, the incident occurred near Porky’s Gas Station. <\/p>\n
At the time, two masked men armed with a shotgun reportedly entered a home in the area, demanding cash. Police said the homeowner screamed she had no money. <\/p>\n
Before leaving, the culprits fired a shot but no one was injured.<\/p>\n
Police investigations into the incident continue.<\/p>\n
