Grey emphasized it is important to work in a co-ordinated way to promote collaboration and exchange to achieve a stable result in the region.<\/P><\/p>\n
From their own point of view, he said the Bahamas has a population of almost 300,000 and gets more than five million tourists a year, and needs to meet these food demands through efficient agricultural production. <\/P><\/p>\n
“I am sure bilateral agreements will allow us to devise a formula with the support of Cuban specialists in this area, to improve our islands\uffb4 agricultural capacity”, Grey noted. <\/P><\/p>\n
The Agriculture and Fisheries minister said it was important to strengthen agricultural and tourism links between countries of the region.<\/P><\/p>\n
