{"id":247631,"date":"2005-08-29T11:29:43","date_gmt":"2005-08-29T15:29:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2005\/08\/traffic-fatalities-on-the-rise"},"modified":"2005-08-29T11:29:43","modified_gmt":"2005-08-29T15:29:43","slug":"traffic-fatalities-on-the-rise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2005\/08\/traffic-fatalities-on-the-rise","title":{"rendered":"Traffic Fatalities On the Rise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A three-month old child and a pregnant woman are dead following two separate car accidents over the weekend, one in Nassau and the other in Grand Bahama.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Both tragic collisions occurred when the cars hit stationary objects.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Baby Oscar Rolle Jr. lost his life at 7:15pm Saturday in the New Providence car crash.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Police reported that the child was a passenger in the vehicle when it suddenly veered off the road and crashed into a house on Beatrice Avenue.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>It is unknown who was driving the car at the time of why the driver lost control.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Police are also investigating a car crash that occurred on Friday evening on Grand Bahama and claimed the life of a pregnant woman and her unborn child and seriously injured two of her family members.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>According to press liason Bahamas Supt.
