He is also the father of three children – a boy and two girls.

According to ASP Deveaux, a team of New Providence officers – four from the Central Detective Unit (CDU), two from the Canine Unit and an estimated 12 officers from Eleuthera – are continuing their search throughout Governor’s Harbour and extended areas.

“We are hoping to bring closure to this matter as soon as possible,” ASP Deveaux admitted. “But right now there are no significant leads in this case.”

Meantime, police officers were also investigating the circumstances surrounding an armed robbery in the West Bay Street area in New Providence late Sunday.

According to Police Inspector Walter Evans the incident happened just before midnight when three men entered a woman’s home on West Bay Street.

Police said after hearing a banging sound, the woman went to investigate and discovered the gunmen inside her home, their faces partially concealed.

The suspects robbed the woman of $250 in cash and several items. Police said the bandits reportedly left the scene in an unknown direction.

By: Macushla N.
