Nonetheless, Jin has acquired attention for quick-witted verbal skills on the microphone rather than for his post-BET signing with the Ruff Ryders crew, which by now has been dissolved. <\/P><\/p>\n
This past weekend in the Bahamas, The Power Summit took place and one highlight of the industry-driven conference was a rap battle with $50,000 at stake. The battle was yet another \uff93Fight Klub\uff92-marketed exchange where large sums of money are hoisted up for several of the world\uffb4s most renowned battle emcees to step forward for the taking. This Saturday, those emcees present were Jin, Professor Green from the United Kingdom, Serious Jones from Jersey and AX hailing from Bronx, New York. <\/P><\/p>\n
Professor Green eliminated AX in the first round with catch phrases such as \ufffdI\ufffdm an OutKast, and your girl gave me \ufffdthe love the below!\ufffd Serius Jones was the next contender for Professor Green, but proved no match in this particular event according to the judges. Green used successful, but semi-clich\ufffd subject matter to get under the skin of Jones, such as \ufffdSerius Jones, Serious no\/ I was with ya mom and she\ufffds a serious hoe.\ufffd<\/P><\/p>\n
In the final round, only Jin and Professor Green had the five-figure monetary reward in their scopes. While rappers such as Lil\uffb4 Webbie, Smitty, and Cory Gunz sat in the audience watching on, Jin effectively rattled the British battler. Professor Green stumbled over his thoughts and wordplay leaving only a horde of boos and towels to be hurled at him on-stage. <\/P><\/p>\n
Still, the dramatic aura persisted as Jin offered Serius Jones $10,000 to come back on stage to battle the Asian-American rapper in retribution of a defeat Jin took from Jones\uffb4 in a \uff93Fight Klub\uff92 battle in August in New York City. Serius Jones failed to appear, however. <\/P><\/p>\n
