The Fox Hill resident died in hospital around 2am Thursday, according to officials. <\/p>\n<p>Johnson was shot shortly after 9pm Tuesday while a passenger in a Nissan vehicle in the Augusta Street area, Bain Town, police said.<\/p>\n<p>They said another man approached him, demanding cash. <\/p>\n<p>After he did not receive any money, police said the criminal, who was brandishing a handgun, shot Johnson in the back of the head.<\/p>\n<p>Police said on Thursday they were still not following any substantial leads into this latest slaying. <\/p>\n<p><P><b>More Armed Robberies in Residential Areas<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Police were on Thursday also looking for the culprits behind two separate armed robberies, the first one occurring after 10pm in the Cable Beach area.<\/p>\n<p>Police said a 33-year-old man had just arrived home when two masked men approached him &#8211; one of whom was armed with a handgun and demanded cash.<\/p>\n<p>According to Police Inspector Walter Evans, the bandits robbed the man of his wallet and wristwatch.<\/p>\n<p>Around midnight, police responded to a similar call at Tower Heights in the eastern district.<\/p>\n<p>A 34-year-old man was reportedly exiting his vehicle when a masked gunman robbed him of a small amount of cash and a bag before escaping in the Prince Charles area.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the recent spate of armed robberies, police urged residents to take the following precautions, particularly when entering their homes at night.<\/p>\n<p>Be vigilant. Pay attention to any unusual activity that may have occurred since leaving home such as an open gate, unfamiliar vehicles parked nearby, house doors forced open, shattered windows, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Be on the lookout for persons whose intention it is to deprive citizens of personal property such as jewelry, wallets, money and vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Have crime-watch groups established in your neighbourhood or activate crime-watch groups that are not functional. This assists in a reduction in crime and is an added blend to existing police patrols.<\/p>\n<p>Keep the police informed of any suspicious activity regardless of how insignificant it may seem.<\/p>\n<p>Get to know the police commander, police stations&#8217; telephone numbers and officers assigned to your area.<\/p>\n<p><small>By: Macushla N.
