The body of an unidentified man was found floating in the waters off Montagu Beach yesterday.<\/P><\/p>\n
Police have not commented on the possible cause of death, but say they do not suspect foul play.<\/P><\/p>\n
Press liaison officer Walter Evans said the only item of clothing on the body was “a pair of black shorts.”<\/P><\/p>\n
“A body of a dark male was found floating in the water’s off Montagu beach around 10am.<\/P><\/p>\n
“He is estimated to be in his late 30’s, about five feet, 10 inches and about 180 pounds,” he said.
\nPolice are asking for the public’s assistance in determining the circumstances surrounding the incident.<\/P><\/p>\n
“We are asking that persons with any information on this incident or any information about a missing person to contact police headquarters,” said Mr Evans.<\/P><\/p>\n
