NOV 3 – NOV 8, 2005 – Peter Nyg\ufffdrd, will host country music’s foremost writers & artists who are performing at the 2nd Annual Songwriters Festival in Nassau. \ufffdThe Festival provides an opportunity to perform & write material in a tranquil Caribbean setting. <\/P><\/p>\n
Famous songwriters performing a few of their top hits are: \uffa0Tim Nichols, Sherrie Austin, Chuck Cannon, Vicky McGehee, Brett James, Kylie Sackley, Will Rambeaux, Andy Griggs & Conchita LeeFlang. \uffa0Their award winning songs have been performed by various artists such as Toby Keith, Reba McEntire, Kenny Chesney\/ Uncle Kracker, Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson & Faith Hill.<\/P><\/p>\n
Festival co-founder Mary Loving of BMI, said “The Bahamas welcomed us so warmly in our first year & we were particularly appreciative of Peter Nyg\ufffdrd for hosting us at his resort. Mr. Nyg\ufffdrd has rolled out the carpet for us again this year & as a result of his dedication & commitment, we have renamed the festival, NYG\ufffdRD CAY Songwriters Festival.”<\/P><\/p>\n
