That list includes Eddison Bowles, who was reported missing August 19, 2005.

Police said Bobby Joseph and Mark Forbes also appear on that list after disappearing in Grand Bahama on August 24, 2005.

Only a few days earlier on August 19, Deveron Edgecombe and Deangelo Cooper were reported missing from the Grand Bahama area.

Back on April 21, 2005, Andrew Sands also went missing, according to police.

One of the more publicized disappearances of 2005 was that of Eleuthera businessman, Dwight Johnson, 44, on September 1, 2005.

Several hours after Johnson’s wife reported him missing, officers discovered his F350 bloodstained truck in bushes just off the Workers House complex in Governor’s Harbour.

Mr. Johnson is the owner of the Quality Inn Citagoo Resort and the Buccaneer Club Hotel & Restaurant, both located in Governor’s Harbour.

Mr. Johnson also reportedly owns a number of winter residences on the island. He is the father of three children – a boy and two girls.

A team of New Providence officers had combed Governor’s Harbour and extended areas.

“We have been getting conflicting reports on whether he is alive. But we are certainly taking a very serious approach to this matter as if something happened to him,” Superintendent Miller told the Bahama Journal.

“If there is anyone out there with information as to his whereabouts, we are making a public appeal at this time for them to come forward. If he is alive we want to know. But our investigations thus far is that something actually happened to him.”

By: Macushla N.
