The News Shopper’s campaign for justice for the family of a two-year-old boy who was killed by an unmanned speed boat in the Bahamas has received 500 signatures of support in a week. <\/P><\/p>\n
Toddler Paul Gallagher was fatally injured in 2002 when the speed boat mounted the beach he was on at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. <\/P><\/p>\n
Since then there has been no prosecution over his death and the same boat firm continues to operate at the resort. <\/P><\/p>\n
The News Shopper is seeking to drum up support to push the government in the Bahamas to allow a full British police investigation into the tragedy. <\/P><\/p>\n
Reporter Sara Nelson has been following the story for the paper, which has also gathered the support of Orpington MP John Horam. <\/P><\/p>\n
Sara said: “We\uffb4ve been keeping up to date with story for a long time. <\/P><\/p>\n
“We\uffb4ve written so many stories about it we thought we could actually do something about it. <\/P><\/p>\n
“We want to get as many signatures as possible and then go to the Bahamian consulate.” <\/P><\/p>\n
