{"id":249212,"date":"2006-03-29T12:49:44","date_gmt":"2006-03-29T17:49:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2006\/03\/new-yorker-dies-after-bahamas-traffic-accident"},"modified":"2006-03-29T12:49:44","modified_gmt":"2006-03-29T17:49:44","slug":"new-yorker-dies-after-bahamas-traffic-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2006\/03\/new-yorker-dies-after-bahamas-traffic-accident","title":{"rendered":"New Yorker Dies After Bahamas Traffic Accident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P>Police say Edmond Jurga of New York, a part-time resident of Grand Bahama, was driving east along Bishop Place when he overlooked a stop sign at the intersection with Balao Road around 3pm on Friday.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Mr Jurga&#8217;s 2001 Hyundai Accent reportedly collided with a Pontiac Firebird driven by Stacey Seymour, 44, of Wrexhem Drive.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Both vehicles were extensively damaged.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Seymour sustained an injury to the head and Mr Jurga complained of a pain in one of his legs. They were both taken by ambulance to hospital, where Seymour was treated and discharged.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>However, Mr Jurga was admitted.
