Mr. Thompson said it promises to be exciting and is to be highlighted by a blind person driving a boat as a one-legged amputee is waterskiing behind.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Thompson, who is visually disabled, said stage one will begin at 10 a.m. from the Hurricane Hole Marina on Paradise Island and involves him circumnavigating a small boat two or three laps around the island, under his own power.<\/p>\n<p>Stage two will take place at 12:30 p.m. in waters off Montagu Beach foreshore and involves Jamal Nottage, a physically disabled person, waterskiing as the blind pilot, Mr. Thompson, is navigating around a set course around Montagu Beach. Additionally on day two the blind boat challenge Bahamas Invitational fund-raiser golf tournament will be held at the Ocean Club Golf Course.<\/p>\n<p>We endeavour to showcase, that persons with disabilities in The Bahamas, no matter what their limitations and with the help and support of others, can rise and conquer any challenge once determined and committed, living up to the organisation\u2019s motto, &#8220;Pursuing our potential, Challenging our Limitations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bahamas Disability Adventures under its former name, Adventures Unlimited Bahamas, was licensed in The Bahamas on January 8, 2009.
