\"\"NASSAU, BAHAMAS\u00a0 – Great steak and chicken dinners grilled fresh on-site draw hundreds of people every year to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Annual Steak-Out and Mini Fair.<\/p>\n

Held this year on Saturday, November 3rd. from 12 Noon to 6 p.m. on the church grounds located at the corner of Shirley Street and Shirley Park, the Steak-Out committee is gearing \u2013up for another successful event.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt Sacred Heart\u2019s Steak-Out we really concentrate on the food and as a result our event has become known for offering some of the best steak and chicken dinners found anywhere,\u201d said Angela Fox, Steak-Out chairperson. \u201cIf you haven\u2019t had one of our delicious dinners yet, this is the time to come out and try one for yourself and your family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Homemade cakes and sweets, conch fritters are also featured, along with games and booths for the whole family including: hoopla, face painting, bingo, a bouncy castle, a white-elephant stall, books and an in-house raffle just to name a few.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe steak-out is a family-oriented event that offers something for all ages,\u201d said Father Anselm Russell, Sacred Heart Catholic Church Pastor. \u201cWe invite the whole community to join us for an afternoon of great food and fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tickets for steak and chicken dinners are $10 each and can be purchased at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church office. For more information call 326-6004.
