Simpson, Nicole Brown Simpson<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>O.J. Simpson has allegedly hit a new low. The disgraced football star, currently behind bars in Nevada, wants to sell the knife he may have used in the murder of ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman for $5 million.<\/p>\n<p>A source close to Simpson said, \u201c[O.J. is] looking for a strictly cash deal so that the money can be deposited in offshore accounts and can&#8217;t be traced directly to him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nicole and Ron were brutally slashed to death outside her West Los Angeles home on June 12, 1994, leading to the most sensational murder trial in recent American history.<\/p>\n<p>The knife was never found.<\/p>\n<p>The knife is said to be stashed somewhere in the Bahamas, and has been in Simpson&#8217;s possession ever since the 1995 double murders that divided the nation. \u201cO.J. said he&#8217;d reveal the location once a firm deal \u2014 for a minimum of $5 million \u2014 was reached,\u201dadded the insider.<\/p>\n<p>Simpson has claimed innocence in the murders but released a book detailing how he would have killed the couple.<\/p>\n<p>In 2008, Simpson was sentenced to 15 years in prison for a botched robbery attempt in which he tried to get back some of his memorabilia, and has filed an appeal in the ruling.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OJ Simpson is reportedly selling the knife used to kill his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.
