{"id":3036,"date":"2010-10-13T08:52:01","date_gmt":"2010-10-13T12:52:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=3036"},"modified":"2010-10-13T08:52:01","modified_gmt":"2010-10-13T12:52:01","slug":"seven-shot-in-five-days-of-bahamas-violence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2010\/10\/seven-shot-in-five-days-of-bahamas-violence","title":{"rendered":"Seven Shot in Five Days of Bahamas Violence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The murder and mayhem of the holiday weekend continued Monday with three more violent incidents in Nassau, making a total of seven person who have been shot in five days.<\/p>\n<p>A man riding his bicycle on Augusta Street was was shot in his left knee and left arm after being approached by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun.<\/p>\n<p>Another shooting occurred around 11:00pm in the Bain Town area where a 27-year-old man was shot several times. Details on that incident are sketchy.<\/p>\n<p>Less than two hours later, a man was shot in the chest as he was walking with another man and a woman through a short cut on Milton Street.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, a three-year old toddler was shot in his right leg in Union Village off Wulff Road. A man was taken into custody but it was unclear what exactly happened.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, police have identified the body of 45-year-old Albert Hanna of Freeport, Grand Bahama, as the the man found in the bushes near a beach bar in Bimini over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Two other men were shot in that incident.<\/p>\n<p>Police say there is no evidence to suggest that any of the shootings were linked.
