{"id":30657,"date":"2013-01-23T22:33:37","date_gmt":"2013-01-24T03:33:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=30657"},"modified":"2013-01-28T08:05:58","modified_gmt":"2013-01-28T13:05:58","slug":"bnt-hosts-art-for-the-parks-festival-in-abaco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2013\/01\/bnt-hosts-art-for-the-parks-festival-in-abaco","title":{"rendered":"BNT Hosts Art For The Parks Festival In Abaco"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An elite group of talented Bahamian artists will exhibit their works at Abaco Beach Resort during the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/calendar\/view_entry.php?id=6884&amp;date=20130126\">Art for the Parks Festival<\/a>, January 25-27, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>This annual event, a collaboration between Abaco Beach Resort, the Bahamas National Trust and corporate sponsors, brings together more than 30 of the country\u2019s most recognised artists and craftsman.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-30658\" title=\"art-parks\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/art-parks.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/art-parks.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/art-parks-150x69.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/art-parks-250x115.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The festival offers both residents and visitors a unique opportunity to view and purchase artwork while raising awareness and funding for the preservation of Abaco\u2019s six national parks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cArt for the Parks has become a wonderful tradition at Abaco Beach Resort and we are thrilled to, once again, serve as host to the many incredible artists based here in the Bahamas,\u201dsaid the resort\u2019s owner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe preservation of our six national parks is an issue of great importance to both residents who have cherished them for years and visitors experiencing their beauty for the first time.
