The event, which is a Bahamian tradition, has been marked as a signature event in celebration of the Bahamas\u2019 40th Anniversary of Independence.\u00a0 In consideration of our partnership with the National Independence Committee, our theme this year is: \u201cRED CROSS CELEBRATES WITH THE BAHAMAS\u202640 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In advance of the Fair, the Bahamas Red Cross would like to thank its many partners who, over the years, have committed their time, technical talent, staff and resources towards the successful execution of our Annual Fair. This is a Bahamian staple, and we welcome the patronage of everyone as all proceeds aid the vulnerable populations in our country, especially those who are affected by natural disasters and poverty.<\/p>\n<p>As usual, fair gates will open promptly at 12:00 Noon. Patrons may access the fair grounds for a small admission donation of $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children.
