Nassau, Bahamas–Veteran Bahamian Realtor, Larry Roberts, captured the \u00a0 NAI Global President’s Award at the NAI Commercial Real Estate Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Roberts, SIOR, \u00a0 is CEO of NAI Bahamas Realty Commercial, the commercial division of Bahamas Realty Limited of which he also is CEO.<\/p>\n
Mr. Roberts said he was “honoured, surprised and delighted to receive the NAI President’s Award, particularly as we are relatively new members of this extraordinary group. NAI Global is one of the world’s leading providers of commercial real estate services.”<\/p>\n
NAI President Jay Olshonsky presented the President’s \u00a0 Award to Larry Roberts \u00a0 for his “leadership, participation, initiative and cooperation in fostering the interests \u00a0 of NAI \u00a0 Global between members.”<\/p>\n
More than 700 \u00a0 North American commercial real estate leaders, plus 70 from the Latin American and Caribbean area, attended the event at which Mr. Roberts was honoured.<\/p>\n
During the recent conference, Larry Roberts and Lindsey Cancino, CFO of Bahamas Realty, also secured the next regional meeting for the organization in Nassau, in May, 2013.<\/p>\n

Mr Cancino explained that he and Mr. Roberts used the recent conference to “solidify the contacts in the NAI Global network particularly as it relates to the Caribbean and Latin American countries, and \u00a0 to strengthen contacts with China and Australia offices \u00a0 concerning business which could come out of Freeport.”<\/p>\n
Of Mr. Roberts\u2019 President’s Award, he said “We knew he was nominated, but were a little surprised that he won, \u00a0 because \u00a0 we are rather new with NAI. \u00a0 Larry has been very involved in the committees he sits on. The award is for his contribution to the leadership role in Latin American and Caribbean division.<\/p>\n
\u201cNAI President Olshonsky is very serious about us all working together.”<\/p>\n

Bahamas Realty Commercial joined NAI Global two years ago, as its exclusive member for The Bahamas. The well known Bahamas Realty Commercial Division is now known as NAI Bahamas Realty Commercial giving its customers global reach in marketing and sales.<\/p>\n
