{"id":3223,"date":"2010-10-18T08:17:53","date_gmt":"2010-10-18T12:17:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=3223"},"modified":"2010-10-18T08:17:53","modified_gmt":"2010-10-18T12:17:53","slug":"dominicans-accused-of-illegal-fishing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2010\/10\/dominicans-accused-of-illegal-fishing","title":{"rendered":"Dominicans Accused of Illegal Fishing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Royal Bahamas Defense Force intercepted a Dominican fishing vessel and arrested a crew of 33 men who were accused of illegal fishing.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, the 70ft steel hulled motor vessel &#8220;Adrian I&#8221; of the Dominican Republic  was intercepted in the rich fishing grounds of Columbus Bank, east of  Ragged Island in the southeast Bahamas.<\/p>\n<p>United States Coast Guard Cutter Pea Island intercepted the boat with a  Royal Bahamas Defense Force (RBDF) officer &#8220;shiprider&#8221; onboard.
