{"id":3246,"date":"2010-10-19T09:27:43","date_gmt":"2010-10-19T13:27:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=3246"},"modified":"2010-10-19T09:27:43","modified_gmt":"2010-10-19T13:27:43","slug":"thousands-stolen-from-exuma-police-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2010\/10\/thousands-stolen-from-exuma-police-station","title":{"rendered":"Thousands Stolen From Exuma Police Station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is difficult to believe that the police can protect businesses in Exuma when they are unable to protect their own police station.<\/p>\n<p>Police have confirmed that over $10,000 was stolen from the Exuma Central Detective Police Station.<\/p>\n<p>The crime occured at weekend, sometime between midnight and 9:00am, at the station which is located outside of George Town.<\/p>\n<p>The front entrance of the station was smashed open and thieves made off with the money.<\/p>\n<p>This is the fifth government building to be burglarized in the past four months.
