{"id":3373,"date":"2010-10-22T07:36:20","date_gmt":"2010-10-22T11:36:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=3373"},"modified":"2010-10-22T07:36:33","modified_gmt":"2010-10-22T11:36:33","slug":"btc-reverses-charges-to-thousands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2010\/10\/btc-reverses-charges-to-thousands","title":{"rendered":"BTC Reverses Charges To Thousands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) is reversing charges to thousands of customers who were sent erroneous bills as a result of a glitch in the company&#8217;s billing system.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday BTC sent out a text message to its GPRS customers which include those that use Blackberry Internet services and Internet services informing them of the charge reversals.<\/p>\n<p>BTC VP Marlon Johnson said there was a technical glitch in BTC&#8217;s billing system that affected its rating tables.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Due to a system error, you were billed incorrectly for &#8216;GPRS charges&#8217; on your last bill.
