The victim was treated for injuries and is in stable condition<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, hit and runs are a common occurrence in the Bahamas and usually the offending driver is never found, or charged. Such was the case with the recent high-profile hit-and-run murders of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2013\/05\/tough-call-why-still-no-action-over-deaths-in-traffic-accident-35983.html\">Jill and Ron Gandza<\/a> &#8211; the Canadian couple killed in Exuma while walking near their vacation home.<\/p>\n<p>Though the killing driver was found, the individual was never charged despite having crashed into two people causing their deaths and then callously leaving the scene. It is suspected that the individual, who was never named, is well-connected.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An Abaco man was hit and injured.
