You might also recall that some years ago the Privy Council ruled that the murder of a girl, who was brutalized and burned alive, was not \u2018the worst of the worst\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>I believe an explanation of this legal term would help bridge the disconnect between the judiciary and the public.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><em><strong>Bishop Simeon Hall<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Murderers are not put to death in The Bahamas because the Privy Council says that the death sentence is reserved for crimes that are the &#8220;worst of the worst&#8221;.
