It is also the coordinating office for the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative (CBSI).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-39323\" title=\"usembassy-bahamas2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/usembassy-bahamas2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"250\" 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The event, held at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas (NAGB) was in collaboration with the opening of an exhibit displaying the work of 20 National Geographic Photography Camp participants, the result of a joint project between The Bahamas National Drug Council (BNDC) and the INL Section.<\/p>\n<p>Among the invited guests at the reception, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Dr. Daniel Johnson, the Minister of Health, Dr. Perry Gomez,\u00a0 Dr. Bridgette Rolle, BNDC Director and other U.S. and Bahamian officials.<\/p>\n<p>The invited guests were given a tour of the traveling exhibition which features the photography of twenty talented Bahamian youth from New Providence, Grand Bahama, and Crooked Island, winners of the first \u201cYouth Expression against Drug Competition,\u201d cosponsored by the BNDC and the Embassy.<\/p>\n<p>Last summer, the winners received scholarships to attend the National Geographic Photography Camp held at the Island School in Cape Eleuthera.\u00a0 They learned the basics of photography from world renowned National Geographic photographer Raul Touzon and photo editor Todd James and showcased the natural beauty of The Bahamas and its people.<\/p>\n<p>The travelling photo exhibit will be on display at the National Art Gallery until the end of September
