Grand Bahama Catholic High School was the recent target of burglars who broke into the school early Monday morning.<\/p>\n
According to principal Daisy McPhee, vandals struck the school and completely ransacked six of the classrooms and attempted to gain access to the guidance councillor’s office.<\/p>\n
McPhee said that she received a call from the alarm company shortly after 3:00 a.m. on Monday alerting her that the alarm had gone off at the school and there was a break-in.<\/p>\n
She noted that the burglars gained access to the art and technical drawing room where they stole several tools that could probably assist them in doing damage to other schools.<\/p>\n
When she arrived at the school in the early morning hours, McPhee said that she only noticed the damage to one room.<\/p>\n
