Participants meet over a three-day period for scheduled one-on-one meetings in a highly concentrated 20-minute per meeting format. World Routes also features a series of Seminars designed to educate attendees about emerging developments and trends taking place throughout the travel industry.<\/p>\n<p>During World Routes 2013, the Bahamas Team met with existing airline partners and some new airlines in pursuit of the Ministry of Tourism and its Industry Partners\u2019 fundamental goal, which is to acquire and maintain the optimum airlift to all Bahamian destinations in a competitive and sustainable way.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees at World Routes included Vernice Walkine, CEO of Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD); Fred Lounsberry, CEO, Nassau\/Paradise Island Promotion Board and members of his team; Robert \u201cSandy\u201d Sands, Senior Vice President \u2013 Public &amp; Governmental Affairs at BahaMar; Vaughn Roberts, Senior Vice President \u2013 Finance at BahaMar; and Tyrone G. Sawyer, Director of Airlift Development, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism.<\/p>\n<p>Heading The Bahamas\u2019 team to World Routes was Director General of Tourism, David L. Johnson.
