{"id":4583,"date":"2010-11-26T09:24:15","date_gmt":"2010-11-26T14:24:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=4583"},"modified":"2010-11-26T09:46:07","modified_gmt":"2010-11-26T14:46:07","slug":"former-boyfriend-charged-in-adelaide-murder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2010\/11\/former-boyfriend-charged-in-adelaide-murder","title":{"rendered":"Former Boyfriend Charged in Adelaide Murder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Douglas Brian Pratt, 23, of Jelly Fish Lane in Yamacraw Estates, was charged in Magistrate&#8217;s Court with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2010\/11\/woman-stabbed-to-death-in-adelaide-4526.html\">murder of Shande Cartwright<\/a> whose body was found at Adelaide Beach on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Pratt was the former boyfriend of Ms Cartwright and father of two childen with her. He was not required to enter a plea to the murder charge.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez said a preliminary inquiry will held to determine whether there is sufficient evidence for the matter to be heard before the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<p>Pratt, who was heavily bandaged on his forearms and abdomen, was remanded to Her Majesty&#8217;s Prison.
