Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez ordered that a preliminary inquiry be held.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, the murder took place around 5:00am on Saturday at Bacardi Road, off Carmichael Road.<\/p>\n<p>Jeanty was at home when a man armed with a handgun shot him.<\/p>\n<p>That case was adjourned until November 30 and was transferred to Court 11.<\/p>\n<p>In other court news, a 17-year-old male was also arraigned on murder charges for the murder of Ryan Cambridge, 19, on November 21.<\/p>\n<p>Cambridge died while attending a party at Fort Charlotte on Sunday. He was stabbed in the chest.<\/p>\n<p>Police say Cambridge and a relative were at the event when a fight broke out.<\/p>\n<p>The juvenile was not required to enter a plea and a preliminary inquiry was ordered by the magistrate.<\/p>\n<p>Another man who police allege was involved in the Fort Charlotte fight was also arraigned on the charge of for causing harm.<\/p>\n<p>Police say that Deran Sands, 24, of Kemp Road, caused harm to Emmanuel Bain on November 21.
