{"id":4744,"date":"2010-12-01T09:48:21","date_gmt":"2010-12-01T14:48:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=4744"},"modified":"2010-12-01T09:48:21","modified_gmt":"2010-12-01T14:48:21","slug":"bahamas-unscathed-as-2010-hurricane-season-ends","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2010\/12\/bahamas-unscathed-as-2010-hurricane-season-ends","title":{"rendered":"Bahamas Unscathed as 2010 Hurricane Season Ends"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season &#8211; the third busiest storm season- has passed and hardly left its mark on The Bahamas.<\/p>\n<p>While  there were threats of storms, none really touched down on the country,  although The Bahamas did experience rain, winds and cold weather from  some systems.<\/p>\n<p>The 2010 season spawned 19 named  storms, tying for the third most active season with 1897 and 1995,  according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center. Of those storms, 12  became hurricanes, tying the second highest season in 1969.
