{"id":47757,"date":"2014-01-31T09:46:46","date_gmt":"2014-01-31T14:46:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/target\/mans-body-set-of-fire"},"modified":"2014-01-31T09:46:46","modified_gmt":"2014-01-31T14:46:46","slug":"mans-body-set-of-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2014\/01\/mans-body-set-of-fire","title":{"rendered":"Man&#8217;s Body Set On Fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"h49904-p4\">A man was shot and set on fire in a Honda Civic, becoming the country\u2019s latest murder victim.<\/p>\n<p>Police are hunting four men they believe to be responsible for the crime, which happened around 3:00pm .<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Commissioner of Police Anthony Ferguson said officers received information shortly after 3pm that shots were heard at the back of the Dundas Centre for the Performing Arts on Mackey Street. When they arrived, they made the gruesome discovery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cResponding officers, upon arrival, met a Honda Civic on fire. They made contact with the fire branch, who arrived a short time later. They met the vehicle completely engulfed in flames,\u201d he said,<\/p>\n<p id=\"h49904-p8\">\u201cUpon extinguishing the fire, the officers discovered a badly burned body, of what we believe to be a male, in the passenger seat. The preliminary investigation into this matter suggests that four males were seen running from the area where the vehicle was set ablaze.
