{"id":47791,"date":"2014-01-31T09:33:19","date_gmt":"2014-01-31T14:33:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/target\/firearm-case-delayed"},"modified":"2014-01-31T09:33:19","modified_gmt":"2014-01-31T14:33:19","slug":"judge-delays-gun-case-considers-bail-for-career-criminal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2014\/01\/judge-delays-gun-case-considers-bail-for-career-criminal","title":{"rendered":"Judge Delays Gun Case, Considers Bail for Career Criminal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man charged with firearm and ammunition possession charges must wait five weeks before he learns if Chief Magistrate Joyanne Ferguson-Pratt will grant him bail pending trial.<\/p>\n<p>The chief magistrate told 20-year-old Shaquille Bain she was not minded to make a decision on bail until after his February 13 hearing on a housebreaking charge.<\/p>\n<p>Police prosecutor Inspector Clifford Daxon had objected to bail, claiming there is a likelihood he would re-offend.
