{"id":4812,"date":"2010-12-03T09:01:00","date_gmt":"2010-12-03T14:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=4812"},"modified":"2010-12-03T09:01:00","modified_gmt":"2010-12-03T14:01:00","slug":"police-officer-shot-in-chest-by-another-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2010\/12\/police-officer-shot-in-chest-by-another-officer","title":{"rendered":"Police Officer Shot in Chest By Another Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An officer attached to the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) was shot in the chest by another officer in what was allegedly an accident.<\/p>\n<p>Inspector Archie Miller is in critical condition at Doctors Hospital after being shot around 5:00am during a &#8220;covert&#8221; police operation in southwest New Providence.<\/p>\n<p>The name of the officer was not released.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second officer to be shot in the past month.<\/p>\n<p>Constable Latroy Bodie was shot on November 4, while siting in his car near the residence of a friend in the Miami Street area.<\/p>\n<p>After being wounded, Bodie drove himself to Police Headquarters and was rushed taken to the hospital. He has since been released.<\/p>\n<p>Bodie was off-duty at the time.
