{"id":48711,"date":"2014-02-13T09:16:06","date_gmt":"2014-02-13T14:16:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/target\/bahamas-link-suspected-over-human-smuggling"},"modified":"2014-02-20T09:10:23","modified_gmt":"2014-02-20T14:10:23","slug":"bahamas-link-suspected-over-human-smuggling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2014\/02\/bahamas-link-suspected-over-human-smuggling","title":{"rendered":"Bahamas Link Suspected Over Human Smuggling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>United States Border Patrol agents took into custody yesterday morning several Haitian migrants who they suspect of being a part of a human smuggling operation from the Bahamas.<\/p>\n<p>According to international reports, the group of migrants bailed from a beached boat shortly after 3am Tuesday, touched off a massive ground, air, and sea search.<\/p>\n<p>Border Patrol said it appears this was a human smuggling operation from the Bahamas. It was the second migrant arrest in Palm Beach County for the week.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, Border Patrol caught seven Haitians after they landed on Palm Beach.<\/p>\n<p>They all appeared to be in good health.
